Turnagain Arm is an attractive location that I enjoy visiting. As the tide moves out to sea, the silt and mud become nature's art. Capturing images in the mudflats come with some caution the conditions create some form of quicksand, but more like slow-sand. The ground seems firm under your feet, but as you stay in place for a short period, you begin to sink slowly. It's so slow you do not notice it immediately, it's not until you try to take a step with your boot nearly coming off that you realize how sly the ground is.
Purchasing a print supports, and sponsors my work.
